Proceed with caution

He read somewhere

that drinking soup

was a good way to lose weight

so he started pouring soup

from a can into a bowl,

warming it and then eating it.

He didn’t know that cans

caused poison. He died skinny.

It is rumored that the makers

of canned soup were the ones

who put out the rumor that

soup would help you lose weight.

I don’t know if soup cans are poison.

I just supposed so for the purposes

of this poem. Proceed with caution

in all endeavors of your existence.
