Nothing out of the norm

Nothing eventful has occurred
in this house, yet, today. I ate
a couple of eggs on toast. I fed
the dogs and cats. I turned on
the turtle lights. I listened to
my lover sing to our bird. My love
and I are both sipping on coffee
to start the day.
